Home based attention training in young people with traumatic brain injury
This project was undertaken for an occupational health physician who had collected data on a sample of patients attending for orthopaedic surgery as part of his MSc dissertation. The aim of the study was to investigate whether orthopaedic surgeons take account of patients’ work during their assessment and treatment and to determine whether return to work advice matched the guidelines on the Royal College of Surgeons website. The analysis involved using descriptive statistics and non-parametric tests to test several hypotheses. The results of the statistical analysis formed part of the results section of the dissertation.
