This project involved assessing the association between vaccine uptake rates and practice population characteristics and practice approach to immunistation. The data used for this study was obtained from GP practice data on vaccine uptake, the Office for National Statistics area based data and questionnaire data on practice approach to immunization and vaccination. We demonstrated that high uptake can be achieved in deprived practices and access is important for rural practices.
