Population Impact Measures

Population impact measures provide a population perspective evidence based practice and have been used them to explore the population impact of over-the-counter statins in England, the impact of government strategies to reduce the burden of coronary heart disease in England, interventions for tuberculosis and interventions for depression and schizophrenia. Isla Gemmell is currently involved in a project using population impact measures to assess the potential impact of aspects of the Manchester Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
