Both Roger Harrison and Islay Gemmell have been involved in several projects developing and using population impact measures. Population impact measures provide a population perspective evidence based practice and we have used them to explore the population impact of over-the-counter statins in England, the impact of government strategies to reduce the burden of coronary heart disease in England, interventions for tuberculosis and interventions for depression and schizophrenia.
